You will need PSP 6 or 7, the Fantastic Machines Paint Engine
filter which you can download at
fantasticmachines.com, and the image used in the tutorial
which you can download here Tut Image. I want to thank Barbara for sending this in during
the Wed Wet sharing at Flybynight, and you will need 20/20 which you can
download at byLight
Technologies. I also want to say that I was inspired to do this tutorial
after doing KiwiNessie's Simple Background Tutorial which you can go check out
here. Boy did that tutorial
come in handy, cause I was in a creative block which I didn't know how to
come out of but that tutorial got me inspired and I starting making things
again.
1. Open the tut image.
2. Effects: Geometric Effects: Wave. If you are using PSP 6, this effect
would be under Deformations. Using the following settings, apply the wave
effect:
3. Effects: Geometric Effects: Pinch. Again if you are using PSP 6, this
effect would be under Deformations. So using the following settings, apply the
pinch effect:
4. Effects: Plugin Filters: Paint Engine, using the following settings apply
Fantastic Machines Paint Engine Filter Setting Impression Oil:
5. Ok save your image as a jpg and open in 20/20.
6. Image: Seamless Tile.
