Harm is starting to see and hear his father every where he goes.  When the episode first starts, he sees what he believes is his father stepping onto the elevator at JAG Headquarters, after he is talking with Mac about his plans to sailing with Jordon.  He misses whoever it was but checks the sign in log and sees that the person signed as Lt. Hammer, his fathers call sign.

Harm, Mac, Mic, and Bud go into the Admiral's office and find out that he will be the defending attorney in a case that is going to go before the Supreme Court.  He wants them to help him prepare by holding a mock trial.  Harm is unable to help because of his plans with Jordon but the rest of them is going to help the Admiral prepare over the weekend.  Bud will be the Chief Justice because he knows Constitutional law well.

Harm and Jordon have dinner at his apartment when she gets a call about a client she has.  Harm tells her to discuss it with him and that maybe he can help.  She tells him about a hypothetical client who misses a shot at a sniper and instead kills his best friend.  He know sees and hears his best friend every where he looks.  While Jordon is on the cell phone with her client, Harm gets what he thinks is a phone call from his dad.  He also thinks he sees his father outside of his apartment in the storm.  When he checks there is no one there.  The next day, Jordon and Harm can't go sailing because of the rain so she goes to work to help her client and Harm listens to tapes of his dad.

Harm decides to go headquarters and tells Mac what he has been hearing and seeing.  She thinks that maybe he just imagined it but he shows her the log in sheet.   They aren't sure that the signature says Hammer.   She asks if he has discussed this with Jordon and he says no.  She says to him go talk to her about it and don't tell her that you came to me first.  He heads back to the apartment and receives another call from what he believes his is dad.  Jordon comes in and he tells her what has been going on. She thinks its her fault because she discussed her patient with him,  he says no I know my father's voice because he has listened to his tapes a hundred times.  Jordon thinks maybe its his mind replaying the tapes in his head.

They make dinner and he sees what he thinks is his father in the alley outside of his apartment.  He rushes out into the rain and finds no one.  Jordon rushes after him and asks what was said on the phone calls.  He tells her and says that he remembers them being on a tape that his father sent.

When he goes to get the tape he realizes someone has been tampering with them.  He know knows that Palmer is behind these phone calls and sightings.  He heads out after him.

Mac goes to the Admiral's house after there mock trial and tells him that the Admiral's client settled and that there wont be a trial before the Supreme Court for him but that there will be more trials like it and they are all proud of him. He is not happy about the outcome.

While he is gone, Jordon's client shows up at Harm's apartment and we find out that the client is actually Palmer.  He gags and knocks Jordon out and puts her behind a mirror.  Where if Harm shoots at what he thinks is Palmer it will really be Jordon he shoots.  He comes back to the apartment and realizes what is going on.  Jordon moves the mirror so he knows where Palmer really is and shoots him.

Harm delivers Palmer personally to jail.  While they take him from Harm, he picks up a paper clip.

David James Elliot deserved an award for his portrayal as a confused, distraught Harmon Rabb in this episode. The expressions on his face when he saw his father and when he heard him were priceless. Susan Haskell helped add to his performance with her pyschiatric knowledge. Having the rain storm throughout the whole show just added to the eeriness of this episode.

Catherine Bell and David James Elliot's tender moment when he went to her to tell her about seeing and hearing his father was a perfect addition to the show. He went to her because she was there with him in Russia and because she knows how much he wanted to find his father and he knew she would understand. Catherine Bell's performance was also magnificent as she told Harm not to tell Jordan that he came to her first. She knows how jealous of her Jordan is and knowing that Harm went to her instead of Jordan would upset Jordan. We saw how thoughtful Mac was.

Of course, Clark Palmer was in the episode and used Jordan to get to Harm. With his elaborate set up in Harm's livingroom he was going to make Harm shoot Jordan thinking he was shooting Palmer. He knew that this would hurt Harm more than anything and that's what he wanted to do. Fortunately, Harm noticed a flaw in his plan and was able to take Palmer down.

Patrick Laborteaux's acting as Bud was perfect. As we have Bud in the past he hasn't been as aggressive as he was tonight. His cutting the Admiral off would have been something that Bud would not have even thought about doing, but he did it. They showed us a different part of Bud tonight and I have to say that I liked it.

At the end, Harm escorted Palmer to Leavenworth and during the exchange Palmer grabbed a paper clip (very Hannibal Lector) and will probably be used in his next escape.

QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
"I GUESS I HAVE A LOT LEFT TO LEARN." Bud told the Admiral in his office.
"DON'T COUNT ON THAT, SON." The Admiral said after Bud left.
