Summary: self-explanatory

Harm made it back to his desk and sat down. The
presentation was awful. First, his stomach got in the
way of the projector which caused several minutes of
akwardness. Then, he dropped a slide and had to have
Kershaw pick it up for him because it was too hard for
him to bend down. Being pregnant was the pits.

He waddled back to his office and pulled the lunch
bag from the mini-refrigerator he had in his office.
He was starved. The half of a tuna fish sandwich made
him gag so he put it back and opted for the apple Trey
exchanged from his lunch bag to Harm's. Harm imagined
that right now Trey was enjoying the chocolate cupcake
that was supposed to be in his lunch bag.

Catherine knocked on his door and Harm looked up
from the apple.

"It wasn't that bad," She said stroking his ego.

"Sure, Cat. Tell me another lie." He put the apple
back in his bag. "I was ready for that presentation.
All that information was dead on about the Colombia
trip. Then I woke up pregnant." He touched his
stomach.

"Don't worry about what happened at the briefing.
The important thing is that Kershaw knows how valuable
putting men in Colombia will be. Now, how about I take
you out to lunch? Anywhere you want to go; anything
you want to eat."

    "Steak."

    "Harm, you're a vegan."

"I know," The meal choice even surprised him. "I
think it's the baby."

"So, how about a porterhouse steak, baked potato
with sour cream and a side salad."

Harm was already getting up. "Add a piece of
cheesecake to that and you have a deal."

"Deal, partner." She was already at the door.
"Let's go."

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Harm came back to the office satisfied
hunger-wise. He couldn't remember the last time he had
a steak. Now that he and the baby had been fed, he was
ready to get back to work. His job now was to work on
the amount of manpower needed for the Colombia
operation.

He had been working diligently for several hours
using the Internet to compound a number for the
Colombia operation. The baby kicked several times
while he was working. It was the first time he ever
really thought of it as a human being. When Mac was
pregnant with the twins it was different for him
because he wasn't carrying the weight, feeling the
twins moving inside of him all the time or the
constant kicking. Now the baby was kicking constantly
letting his dad know he was inside and couldn't wait
to get out.

As Harm put the finishing touches on the report
and readied it to be printed, Kershaw stopped by his
office. Harm hit print on the computer and stood up to
recover the report from the printer. He was there when
Kershaw walked in.

"Afternoon, Harm. I was just getting ready to head
out to a meeting. I wanted you to know how the
Colombia project was coming along?"

Harm picked up the papers from the printer tray.
"I'll get Colleen to copy and collate it before she
leaves and I'll have it tomorrow morning."

    "Good."

"Uh, sir, about my part in the presentation this
morning." Kershaw didn't say anything so Harm
continued. "I wanted to apologize for the things that
happened because of my condition."

Kershaw grinned and rubbed his hand over his
moustache. "I have to admit, Harm, that your condition
is rather unique. What I mean is that you're a
pregnant male CIA lawyer/operative. What happens after
the baby is born?"

Harm looked down at his stomach rather embarrased
and then back to Kershaw. "To be honest, sir, I
haven't thought much past today."

Kershaw laughed and Harm found himself joining in.
A few seconds later while both men were still
laughing, Catherine walked in.

    "Afternoon, sir."

Kershaw acknowledged her with a nod. "Hello, Miss
Gale. I was just talking to Mr. Rabb about the
Colombia project. Are you both calling it a day?"

"Yes, sir. The Colombia visuals are on your desk
ready for inspection. With Harm's report, you should
have a clear view of how many operatives can be sent
into Colombia."

"Very good. Well, I'll see you both tomorrow
morning. Enjoy leaving at five o'clock today because
once my people set foot in Colombia there will be long
nights all around until they come out." Kershaw walked
out.

Catherine wiped her hand over her brow in an
exaggerated way. "Looks like Mac's going to be
spending a lot of time with the baby after it's born."

"She should," Harm said after returning to his
desk to gather his things. "I'm carrying it this
time." He stopped. "Did I just say that? I can't
believe I just said that?"

"It's okay, Harm. We'll blame it on mood swings.
What do you have going on tonight?" They walked to the
elevator together.

"Admiral Chegwidden and his wife are coming by for
dinner."

"Admiral Chegwidden? Isn't he the former JAG?" The
elevator opened and they both entered.

"Yeah," Harm hit the first floor button. "He
retired two years ago. Mac introduced him to his wife,
Meredith Cavanaugh without realizing it."

    "What?"

"It's a long story that has to do with a couple
failed matches. Anyway, Mac arranged dinner for the
four of us.

"You look enthused," Catherine summed up his
attitude in one word: enthused. He was a sixth month
pregnant man. He passed enthused one minute after he
realized he was pregnant.

"I love the Admiral. He's been like another father
to me." The elevator opened up to the first floor.
Harm and Catherine walked out to the car and Harm held
the door for her as she got into her car.

"You're quite the gentleman," She remarked as she
started up the car.

Harm got into his side. "Just because I'm pregnant
doesn't mean I can't be chivalrous. Do me a favor and
wake me up when I get home. I'm exhausted." Harm
closed his eyes.
