Summary: self-explanatory

Harm yawned and rolled from his side to his back.
The alarm went off seconds later. Mac turned it off
and rolled over and rested her head against his
stomach.

He rested his hand against the back of her head
and rubbed her hair. Five minutes passed and the alarm
went off again.

"Harm, it's really time to get up." Mac said. She
rolled of him and his hand hit his stomach. His
stomach! Harm worked his fingers over his stomach.
Where was the toned stomach he had?

Harm opened his eyes and looked down. A small
mound replaced his toned stomach.

    "Mac!" He yelled out.

Mac came sprinting out of the bathroom with her
toothbrush hanging out of her mouth like a cigarette.

"What's wrong?" She asked after taking it out.

"This!" Harm whipped back the blanket and pointed
to the round mound. "What is this thing?"

"What do you mean? That's your stomach, Harm."

"It's not MY stomach."  He yelled at her. "It's a
mountain." Then he saw her lean figure accentuated by
her night gown. "Where is the baby?"

"In your stomach, flyboy. You're the one that's
pregnant, remember?" Mac walked back into the
bathroom.

"I'm pregnant!" Harm tried to get out of bed with
no luck. After a second failed attempt, he finally
rolled out. It worked. Then he walked into the
bathroom. Mac was already in the shower.

    "I can't be pregnant, Mac. It's medically
impossible."

"Hi, dad!" Trey came bounding into the bathroom.

Harm turned around. "Trey, how many times have we
told you to knock before you come in."

"I did," He said with a sweet cherubic smile. "You
didn't say anything so I went ahead and came in. Hi,
mommy."

"Hi, baby. Go tell your sister I'm fixing pancakes
as soon as I get out of the shower."

Trey jumped up and down. "Yes, ma'am."

He started out of the room and Harm called after
him. He stopped and turned around.

"What is it, dad? I have to get dressed."

"I know. I want you to tell me something. Do I
look big?"

Trey snarled up his nose. "Mommy told me not to
ever, ever, ever answer that question, 'specially if a
woman asked."

"I'm asking you, Trey. Do I look big to you?"

    "No," Trey answered.

"Are you telling me a white lie?"

Trey shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know what
color a lie is, daddy. Can I go now? I have to get
dressed for school before breakfast."

    "Yeah, get going."

After taking his shower, Harm dressed in clothes
he found similar to maternity clothes. He put on a
black suit with a blue shirt and tie. His shirt barely
fit into his pants and he buttoned his jacket.

When he came out, Mac gave a low whistle. "Looking
good, flyboy. How do you feel?"

    "I'm pregnant, Mac."

"Daddy's going to have a baby," Rose sing-songed.

"My friends at school think it's cool dad's going
to have a baby."

Harm poured himself a cup of coffee. "Well, I'm
glad they think it's cool, Hammer, because daddy
doesn't." Harm put the mug to his lips just as Mac
pulled it away from him and exchanged it with a glass
of orange juice.

    "Ah, Mac."

"Caffeine, Harm. I'm not having this argument with
you again. If I could go off caffeine for nine months,
you can."

"I had coffee yesterday morning, Mac. This is the
first day I've been pregnant."

    Rose snickered.

"Sara Rose Rabb, that's enough." Mac turned back
to Harm. "Honey, you've been pregnant for the last six
months and if you keep on denying it I'm going to take
you to see a doctor."

"Doctor?" Harm sighed. "That's it. A doctor." He
grabbed his coat.

"Honey, Catherine's picking you up this morning."

"Catherine's picking me up? You said Catherine's
picking me up?"

"Did someone say my name?" On cue, Catherine
walked in the door.

"Can I get you anything, Catherine?" Mac asked.

"No, I'm fine, Mac. Hi, kids."

"We have to go." Harm grabbed Catherine's hand.
"I'll call you later. Let's go, Cat." He pulled her
out the door.

"Where are we going in such a hurry, Harm?"
Catherine asked as she got into her car.

    "The doctor's office."

Catherine pulled out. "Is something wrong?"

Harm stared at her as if she was blind. "You bet
something's wrong. I'm pregnant."
