Meltdown is the second part of the JAG spin-off episode about the NCIS. The hunt for a terrorist, Singer's real killer and a baby shocker make up for this show.

Two new lawyers are brought into this show. Faith Coleman is Harm's laywer. If she seems familiar to viewers it's because she played the original Lorna Devon on Another World.

Viewers are immediately sucked into the preparations for the trial. Faith, we learn, is an obsessive compulsive. This makes her a good lawyer. As for the prosecution, McBurney seems like a really good lawyer as well. I loved the part with him in Harm's office sticking notecards on the window. He's a good lawyer even though he's a little unconventional.

Members of NCIS, mainly Gibbs, Ducky and Abby, take the stand as well as members of JAG. Even though Bud's testimony is damaging for Harm, Jen's testimony is even worse. She felt badly when McBurney made her tell about that night at Benzingers. Even after she looked to Harm and he nodded that it was okay, you still saw her pain in having to admit what she saw. Viewers also learned in her testimony that Jen's father was abusive toward her mother.

I think I'm going to like Abby Sciuto on here. I like her wild side. It's going to make for some great parts of the new spin-off if it takes off. We learn that Abby has a tattoo of a spider web on her neck and that doesn't like suits or courtrooms full of people. This led to a cute scene between she and McBurney.

When Gibbs got on the stand, he had to admit to everyone that he thought Harm was setup. When he left for the Middle East, he made Tony head investigator. Between Tony and Abby, they found that Harm's cover had been planted months after Singer's death. That got them to looking for other men that Singer had been with prior to Sergei.

I loved the look on Tony's face when Harm identified Lindsey as a possible suspect. That grin is adorable. We also got a flash of Harm remembering Lindsey taking his cover and that's when they realized that part was a set-up. It turns out that the Singer/Lindsey thing went back all the way to last May.

Tony and Viv have Lindsey brought in. Tony gets a confession out of Lindsey. It seems they were arguing, Singer went to leave and slipped in the snow hitting her head on the concrete. Instead of calling for help, Lindsey dumped Singer's unconscious body into the river causing her to drown. He put Harm's cover into place along the riverbank making it look like Harm did it. I have to admit that Lindsey's not as stupid as I took him for. It's hard to believe the man that was arrested for murder tonight is the same person that first appeared on the show as wimpy Ted Lindsey in 1995.

The shocker came at the end of Tony's interrogation when he told Lindsey that he wasn't the father of the baby either. It turns out Singer was with a man that we didn't even know about. The look on Lindsey's face is of relief. Funny, considering it still doesn't change the fact he's going down for murder.

When a jet-lagged Tony and Viv join Gibbs on board ship to help him look for Bin-Atwa, they inform Gibbs that Singer was not going to San Diego when she left Washington, but Shannon, Ireland. Could this be where the mystery man lives? We may never know.

Now the storyline delves into the hunt for Bin-Atwa. Tony, Viv and Gibbs find him in a sea port. However, Viv almost blows it when she stares at the man too long. Gibbs chases him into the ship where the man pulls a grenade. Gibbs kills him before the grenade goes off and then is blown down the stairs. Viv and Tony finally see him emerge through the smoke.

Viv apologizes for which Gibbs doesn't accept and he walks off. The last seen is of him walking up the steps.

NOTE: If you haven't picked up a TV Guide yet, pick one up. Not only are our two favorite lawyers on the front cover, but there is a four page article on JAG as well as another full page picture. Also included in the article is small section on the spin-off and a small section on how they covertly hid CB's pregnancy. Pick one up today and hurry!
