This episode starts with the Admiral telling Bud and Mac to find out who wrote the letter to the editor article and has his name withheld which criticizes the president.  All that is known about the person is that it was a Naval officer and in the Navy its against the law to do something like that.  Harm is enlisted by the Admiral to help Bud and Mac find out who wrote the article.  They go talk to the publisher of the newspaper and get no luck there, she wont divulge the information about the author.  Bud thinks he can trace it.

Mac gets a weird phone call that night and goes to the hospital.  Seems a private died and his fiancée wants to cultivate his sperm so they can have children.  Well the wife of that man arrives and says no on is taking her husband's sperm.  Mac now has to decide who will get it.

The next morning, Harm arrives at JAG and finds two people confiscating his computer.  Seems the letter came from him.  The Admiral doesn't believe he did it but if he is convicted he can face 10 years.  Harm believes Clark Palmer is behind it and he goes to visit with him.   He finds out that Palmer is not behind it and leaves and goes back to the office.  He is having coffee when Mac comes in with the frozen sperm to find a place for it until the court can figure out who gets it.  Instead of leaving the sperm at the office, she stores it at Bud's and Harriet's freezer.

Harm figures out that the person who sent the article and set him up is one of the people who are paying his lawyers fees.  He confronts her with it, she says she cant be convicted of anything because she is not military but Harm says she can be convicted of a few other things instead.  In Mac's case the Courts will take a few months to decide who gets the sperm but like Mac said to Harriet it really doesn't matter anymore cause the fiancée turns out to be pregnant with his baby anyways.  I really liked this episode, it was really funny.

Harm battles for his job and his promotion when it's shown that an angry letter was written on his computer about the President and sent to an OP-Ed newspaper meanwhile, Mac is called to the hospital in the middle of the night to make a decision about a dead's man sperm.

I thought that this was a President bashing episode especially for JAG who has not once but twice shown the President. The first time was on SHADOW when Harm was jogging in the park and saw the President. He stood in awe of the man. The second time was when the President pinned Harms medal on him in WE THE PEOPLE. (Sure, it was a computer image, but they still showed him). Mac even talked about a joke that Harm had told when all this came out and Harm laughed about it. He became serious though when he realized that Mac was really going to testify against him if the court-martial became real. Clark Palmer made an appearance when Harm went to Leavenworth, Kansas, to see if Palmer was the one that typed the letter and sent it to the newspaper. When he found out he wasn't, Harm came home. It turns out that Susanne Moore (Michelle Stafford award winning ex-PHYLLIS ROMALOTTI, Y&R) from the conservative group that Bobbie Latham introduced him to was the culprit in sending the letters. Harm was exonerated and given his promotion from Lieutenant Commander to Commander. However, at the end it showed Palmer fixing a Swiss bank account for Harm with eight hundred thousand dollars in it. This told viewers that we haven't seen the end of Clark Palmer.

Mac, on the other hand, had a strange story-line. She had to decide if a dead man's sperm went to the man's fiancee or his wife, who he was divorcing that same week. Until the decision could be made, Mac stored the sperm (in a container of course) first in the refrigerator at JAG and then in Harriet and Bud's freezer. When the fiancee found out that she was pregnant with the man's child, she dropped the case and Mac retrieved the sperm from the Robert's freezer to take it back to the hospital.

QUOTE OF THE SHOW:
Harm is talking to Mac in JAG as she's trying to find a place to put the sperm.
"YOU'RE GOING TO PUT IT NEXT TO MY LASAGNA!"
Mic comes in for some coffee.
"THAT'S SPERM." He tells Mic.
"OH, YOU GOT ONE OF THOSE DO IT YOURSELF THINGS." Mic grins widely because he thinks that was funny. When Mac turns around to face him her angry look turns his grin into a straight face, and Harm leaves them alone.
