In this episode, Harm, Bud and Mac go into the Admiral's office where he proceeds to tell them that Mic called from Australia and that he needs help with an investigation over there.  During Vietnam, an Australian Sailor and an American one were involved in a fight over a girl.  The American was "supposedly" killed by the Australian and left for dead.  His body was sent home to the US and the Australian sailor was never caught for many years but Mic now has that man in custody for the murder and he wont speak with anyone but an American JAG officer.  So Mic has asked for Harm and Bud to come to Australia to help.  When Mac hears he wants a JAG to go over there, she thinks its just a ploy by Mic to get her to come to Australia to see him.  She blows up and says some really stupid things and the Admiral puts her back into her place by telling her that Mic did not want her to come but that instead he wanted Harm and Bud, which actually infuriates her more.

Mic meets Harm and Bud at the airport and he lets Harm drive.  Harm lets Mic think that Harm doesn't know how to drive in Australia but shows him up instead when they get ready to park, he does it great and then lets Mic in on that he learned out to drive in the Bahamas, which leads Bud to comment that they drive the same way in the Bahamas as they do in Australia.

Seems that the person they believed was the Australian sailor was not really, but he was the American sailor, Kevin Lee, who was believed to be murdered.  Seems he and the girl he was fighting over took off after the murder and took on another identity.   He will now be tried for the murder of the Australian sailor and Mac will accompany the body from the US to Australia where it can be brought for a proper burial.  The Admiral and Gunny are talking about the case and the Admiral says something like he wishes he could be there to watch, seems the Gunny didn't really understand.

Back in Australia before Mac arrives, I love when they are gathered at Mr. Lee's restaurant and Bud screws up thinking he was talking to the Gunny but instead is talking to Harriet after Harm hands him the phone and says something stupid about breasts.  Lets just say Harriet was not a happy camper.  I really love this episode so far, there is a lot of humor in it, especially when everyone back at the office in the US is trying to help Bud by getting Harriet not mad at him anymore.

I also loved all the scenes where Harm is very angry at Kevin Lee for deserting his country at a time of war when so many others died for their country including his dad.  Even though you know he can't stand the man, he will do what is right and defend him to the best of his abilities.  One of my other favorite parts of the episode is how they intermingled Webb in there without really letting us know how or why he was there.  You just know that if Webb is around, things are going to get interesting.

Another thing I loved about this episode is the scenes with Mac and Mic at the beach where he is trying to get her to go topless.  Also, Kevin truly makes you think this wife of his who he killed for will be so loyal to him that he will get off on the murder charge, but when Bud and Harm go to talk to her she runs away crying because what she has to say is so damaging to her husband, that he will not get off on the murder charges but instead be convicted or at least in her mind.  I love how it jumps straight away to Bud pointing out to Harm that Mac is topless and that is where this episode ends.  Ok you can tell this was one of my favorite episodes.

The Admiral calls Harm, Bud, and Mac (sick with a cold) into his office. He informs them that Commander Brumby needs their help with an investigation. Mac rants on about how Mic has been trying since he got back to Austrailia to get Mac to come down by offering a business seat on Quanits (Australia's airline), e-mailing her air and water temperature and sending her postcards of the beach.

"That's right. They go to topless." A dreamy look came over the Admiral's face. After the Admiral recovers, he informs Mac that she wasn't asked to come down. Harm and Bud were. Angry and embarrased, Mac storms off with Harm and Bud behind her. They tease her and she points her tissue box at them and informs them that they had their laugh now leave it alone. When she walks back into her office, Bud asks Harm why Brumby didn't ask Mac.

"Because he's one smart dingo." Harm answers his question. Harm knows that by not asking Mac to go down he infuriates her and makes her want to come down even more.

Mic picks Harm and Bud at the airport. After shaking hands with them, he takes Bud's bags and asks about A.J. and Harriet. He completely ignores Harm until its time to leave. Then he suggests Harm drive. After two close scrapes on the road, they come to the Naval yard. Mic suggest he parrallel park. Harm tells him he can do it and does it perfectly. Getting out of the car, he leans in.

"My stepfather owned a cottage in the Bahamas. That's where I learned how to drive." Then he walks off.
"Don't they drive on the left side of the road there, sir?" Bud asks Brumby.
Brumby gets a disgusted look on his face. "Bloody. . ." He exclaims.

When they get into the brig, the accused tells Harm that he's not the Australian Navy man, Ian Dunsworth, but, in fact, the deceased, Petty Officer Kevin Lee. Harm doesn't know what to think and he and Mic interrogate Lee. After they leave, Bud mentions that he didn't realize how well they did good cop/bad cop.

"Who's playing?" They both ask in unison.

Back in Washington, Galindez brings word that the deceased is actually Dunsworth and that Lee is in the brig. That means that Dunsworth has to be taken back to Australia. Mac asks is she can take leave and go down with the body. The Admiral agrees and Mac leaves to pack.

Sitting back in his chair, the Admiral smiles. ". . ., I'd like to be in Austrailia to watch this one unfold."
"Sounds like a slam dunk conviction, sir."
"I'm not talking about the trial." He sits back and laughs. He knows that Harm isn't going to be too happy at seeing Mac in Austrailia and that Brumby is going to be overjoyed.

While at a restaurant at the topless beach, Bud tells Mic it's like watching an r-rated baywatch. Mic laughs and Harm gets a call from Galindez. He tells Harm that Mac is going to bring the body down. Harriet asks to talk to Bud and Harm hands over the phone.

"Gunny, it's wild down here. I haven't seen so many naked breasts since.
. ." He exclaims not knowing Harriet is already on the phone.
"Since when, Bud!!!" She slams down the phone.
"You could have told me Harriet was on the phone, sir." Bud yells at Harm.
"Well, I didn't know you were going to talk about breasts." Harm defends himself.

Harm gives the Admiral a good defense at why Lee should be prosecuted in America. The Admiral denies Harm's defense and tells him Lee will be prosecuted in Australia. The only reason Harm wants the trial in America is because he wants Mac out of Australia and away from Mic. Harm mentions Bud's freudian slip and the Admiral agrees to try to work out. That night after the gunny's useless attempt at helping Bud, the Admiral tells him not to become a family counselor and asks Harriet into his office.

Standing by the fire, the Admiral asks right out. "Does Bud love you?"
"I'm not sure."
Approaching her, he asks again. This time stronger. "Lieutenant, does your husband love you?"
"Yes, sir."
"Good. Dismissed." Harriet walks out and the Admiral smiles proudly.

Mic picks Mac up at the airport while Harm and Bud are at the brig. Mic suggests they go to the beach and Mac agrees quickly. Lee realizes that the reason why Harm is so angry with him is because he lost someone in Vietnam. Harm tells him his father died while doing his duty and Lee ran from his. Lee takes it and then Harm and Bud leave to find Lee's wife.

Mac and Mic strip down to their suits to go into the water. Mic tells her that the women at the beach go topless. Mac tells him she's got a certain decorum to follow since she's a Colonel in the USMC. Mic says she's not in America and to take it off. Will she won't she?

Meanwhile Harm and Bud approach Jenny, Lee's wife, about that night Dunsworth was murdered. They take on the boardwalk by the beach (the same beach Mic and Mac are at) and she tells them that Lee and Dusnworth struggled, Dunsworth tripped over a cleat and fell on his knife. Harm tells her that Lee told him the exact same story.

She runs off crying. While they're still standing there, Bud's eyes grow huge.

"Sir, isn't that Colonel Mackensie topless?" He asks. Harm stands up and turns around. The shot of both of them gawking at her is freezeframed and TO BE CONTIUED is scrawled on the bottom ot the screen.

In reviews of "Boomerang I & II", the reviewer called the Australian airline 'Quanits' which is absolute absurd and totally false.

It is in fact, QANTAS. "Queensland and Northern Territory Air Service", however it is now spelt Qantas (no capitals) because it obviously services more than the top end of Australia.
