You will need PSP 6 or 7 which you can download at Jasc.com, the Andrews Filter 1 which you can get at PC Resources, Simple Pizza Slice Mirror Filter which you can get at Simple Filters, and the final thing you will need for this tutorial is 20/20 which you can download at byLight Technologies. To make the backgrounds have a texture I used Meneka's Simple Texture Background Tutorial which can be found
here.
Here is a color chart that shows the colors I used.
1. Open a new image 200x200 white background.
2. Using the airbrush at the following settings, spray a line of color like so:
3. Layers: Duplicate and move down the line of color a little like so:
4. Keep repeating step 3 until you get something like this:
5. Layers: Merge: Merge Visible
6. Effects: Plugin Filters: Andrews Filter 1: Colours of a Fairground: Using the following settings, apply the Colours of a Fairground effect:
7. Effects: Reflection Effects: Rotating Mirror. So using the following settings, apply the Rotating Mirror effect:
9. Using your airbrush tool, same settings as before, foreground color #FFFFE1, zoom in on your image to 3:1 and spray once right in the middle of your flower.
10. Ok merge all layers and save your image as a jpg and open in 20/20.
