You will need PSP 6 or 7, the Xenofex Filter which you can download at alienskin.com, you will also need Filters Unlimited which you can download at I.C.Net Software, and the final thing you will need is 20/20 which you can download at byLight Technologies. The one thing about this background that I really like is that you can use any color you like, every background I have made so far using this method I have loved.

1. Open a new transparent image 200x200. Flood fill with Color #FFC0C0

2. Effects: Plugin Filters: Xenofex: Television: Using the following settings apply the Television effect:

3. Effects: Geometric Effects: Pinch. If you are using PSP 6, this effect would be under Deformations. So using the following settings, apply the pinch effect:

4. Effects: Geometric Effects: Spiky Halo. Again if you are using PSP 6, this effect would be under Deformations. So using the following settings, apply the spiky halo effect:

5. Effects: Geometric Effects: Wave. Again, if you are using PSP 6, this effect would be under Deformations. Using the following settings, apply the wave effect:

6. Effects: Plugin Filters: I.C.Net Software: Filters Unlimited, using the following settings apply Filters Unlimited Distortion: Crumple effect:

7. Ok save your image as a jpg and open in 20/20.

8. Image: Seamless Tile. Like so:

10. Save your image. You are now finished. :) I hope you liked this tutorial :)
